My Project

In my 10 month here in Riga, I work at the Dienas Centrs "Paaudzes".

There, I spend my working days with the kids and youngsters. We play board games, ping-pong or do any other activities to prevent boredom. :)

Another part of my project are English and German lessons to the kids/youngsters and to adults (there is also an "adult part" in the Center for some activities/meetings).

Further, I present parts of the German culture to the kids in form of cultural evenings once per month. This is about fun activities like traditional dances, songs, games and food. (Fun Fact: When you want Latvians to come to an event, just say there is free food)

I also have the chance to realize my own ideas for activities and small projects in the Day Center. But more to this soon...
